You've heard Dr. Gunnels and Dr. Lester on The Dave Nemo Show, and perhaps you've had the chance to talk to them yourself. Don't miss this opportunity to hear what they have to say and to tell FMCSA what you think.
FMCSA Medical Program Coming to Maryland
The U.S. Department of TransportationFederal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) wants to talk to commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers about what is happening in the medical certification process, and how it will affect them. So we are going where the drivers are—truck stops.
The FMCSA "road show" will be at the Travel Center of America – Baltimore South Travel Center #151, Jessup exit off Interstate 95, on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, from 8:00–11:00 a.m.
Maggie D. Gunnels, Ph.D., M.S., Director of the Office of Medical Programs, and Benisse Lester, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, will talk about the importance of driver medical examinations, certification, and the latest news and updates on driver health and safety.
Do you have questions or comments for FMCSA? Share what is on your mind at a Listening Session. This is your chance to tell FMCSA what you think. We appreciate and value your commitment to truck and bus driver health and safety.
